So many of the ‘store bought’ granolas are super loaded with added sugars, even the ‘healthy’ ones. If you’re looking for sugar free recipes, here’s my delicious sugar free granola. It makes a perfect breakfast or snack. I’ve tried and tested this recipe for sugar free granola a million times, loaded with tonnes of nutritious ingredients like chia seeds, pistachios and almonds and is naturally sweetened with honey.
This sugar free granola recipe yields 6 servings so you can make a batch, keep it in an air tight container and enjoy with Greek yogurt all week!
How to make Sugar Free Granola:
Preheat your oven to 175 Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roughly chop the almonds and pistachios and put into a large mixing bowl. Mix in the oats, sunflower, flax, chia and pumpkin seeds.
Melt the honey in the microwave for about 15 seconds, or until super runny.
Mix the cinnamon in with the melted honey.
Pour the honey over the mixed nuts, oats and seeds and stir well with a wooden spoon.
Pour the mixture into a thin layer (as pictured) over the lined baking tray.
Place in the oven and bake for about 15 mins. Check on it after about 10 mins to give it a little shake.
Leave to cool, about 20 mins, before transferring into an airtight container where it will keep for about a week. Enjoy with natural yogurt, berries and honey.
